Welcome! We are Coach Crabb and Coach Ty.
We are on a mission to train and develop the next generation of athletes. I work with each of my athletes to provide high quality and personalized training. With the proven experience and nationally recognized NFA philosophy I not only improve quarterback skills and mechanics, my training increases football IQ , develops leaders on and off the field, and builds the character of a successful athlete.
Our mottos is " Trust the Process". My athletes learn mental toughness is a skill that requires deliberate practice. If you're in the Northern VA, Richmond, 757, Maryland, or District of Washington areas or even along the east coast, let's connect!
MEET YOUR
HEAD COACH
I am a retired LTC with over 22 dedicated years of service to the US Army. While in the service, I found coaching and mentoring young men and women service members to be the most rewarding aspect of my career. So when it came time to retire I knew what I wanted to do... coach young athletes in a sport I know and love.
I played college football at Morgan State University and then later was a Captain and QB for the Darmstadt Raiders, in Germany. My love for the game fueled my daily grind of learning as much as I could. Since beginning my coaching career in 1992, I have coached both offense and defense at all levels from youth, High School and Semi-Pro. In 1992, I was the Empire Conference Defensive coordinator of the year for the Watertown Red & Black Semi-Pro Football team ~ the oldest team in America.
Through the years I continue to learn and develop my skills as a coach. My first Quarterback mentor was Joe Krivak. My drive to be better a coach lead me to Darin Slack's National Football Academy (NFA). I am nationally credentialed QB coach with NFA and trained with Dub Maddox, Michael Slack, and JC Boise. I have been with NFA since 2014.
Off the field, I enjoy quality time on the golf course, a good game of bowling with my family, and making custom writing instruments. (take a look)!
